o 1
Tenderize sirloin by pounding it out with a meat tenderizer. Place sirloin in a glass bowl or large, plastic zipper bag.
o 2
Marinate the beef. Pour soy sauce, lemon juice, chopped garlic and black pepper over the meat. Mix with a fork, completely covering the sirloin with the marinade; cover and place in a refrigerator for at least three hours--overnight is ideal.
o 3
Heat a frying pan on medium heat and spoon butter into the pan to melt. Lay beef into pan, flat; pour additional marinade on top of beef. Cover and simmer on low heat for at least 30 minutes, turning often; the meat will become more tender the longer you cook it.
o 4
Drizzle olive oil over the meat once the sauce has become a thick, brown gravy. Stir in fresh, sliced onion and cook for one to three minutes. Serve with your favorite side dish.
