WITH THE SHOCK OF HEAT – MEAT NEEDS COOKING SLOWLY AND THE MORE YOU COOK IT THE TOUGHER IT WILL BE.

RIB OF BEEF WITH THE BONE IN

 

TESCO £8 a Kilo – on offer

LOCAL BUTCHER - £8-9 a Kilo

 

ASK FOR A KILO PIECE per 2 people

 

IF YOU WANT TO STEAK IT ASK THE BUTCHER TO CUT IT BETWEEN THE RIB BONES.

 

COOKING  JOINT – 20 mins per 500gms Plus 20mins
Cook in foil  OR on an open roasting tray seated in a Metal dish based it its own juices.

 

STEAK – Cook without adding anything, other than a little butter in a frying pan.

Seal on one side and turn. Please don’t over cook.

 

 

SERVE WITH  Spring Cabbage, Roasted Potatoes Parsnip and Carrots

DON'T FORGET THE ENGLISH MUSTARD AND OR HORSERADISH DAUCE
