1lb GOOD QUALITY PORK SAUSAGES
8oz BACON – DICED
4oz MUSHROOMS – CHOPPED
COOKING OIL
1 LARGE ONION – SLICED
300 mls RED WINE
GARLIC ( OPTIONAL)
CORN FLOUR
SALT & PEPPER
HERBS?

 HEAT THE OIL -  BROWN THE SAUSAGES AND BACON ONLY IN A CASSEROLE DISH AND REMOVE.

COOK ONION GENTLY UNTIL SOFT AND REMOVE ( ADD MORE OIL IF NECESSARY)

STIR ENOUGH CORN FLOUR INTO REMAINING OIL MIX TO MAKE A PASTE.

ADD WINE> A LITTLE AT A TIME

RETURN SAUSAGES &  BACON – ADD MUSHROOMS AND SEASONING INCLUDING CRUSHED GARLIC.

PLACE IN OVEN OR COVERED PAN ON THE STOVE FOR 30 MINUTES ON A LOW SETTING – MARK 2 – 150C – 300F

 SERVE WITH MASH
